LANDING IN MIAMI

Baggage claim

We’ve landed. After a 14 hour flight, we’re back home. We’re just waiting for baggage now.. I’m still drowsy from sleep. Sean isn’t; he’s all hyper from the coffee. :/ It’s scary! Because everyone’s all zombie-like and he’s all cheery and loud. T___T Oooh, here’s my first bag. ^^

Pick-up

Our parents are here!! All of them came at the same time.. I’ll see my classmates at school so I just said a very sleepy “goodbye” to each of them.. When I get home, I’m so sleeping.

DAY FIVE - LAST DAY

Wake up at 5:45 AM

Everyone’s tossing and turning endlessly around their beds. It’s not my fault I had to wake them up at this time! I want to get everything done as fast as possible so we would have a lot done before we head to the airport. Since today is our last day, and we already finished going to our two landmarks, we decided to go and spend a few hours at an island called Maui. Then after that, we’ll stop at a store and go souvenir shopping then… Then it’s bye-bye Hawaii! :( It’s almost 6 AM and only three people got out of bed. I’ll be back later after I drag the other six out of the beds. ^^

Breakfast

7AM at the hotel lobby, eating the hotel-provided breakfast. :3 We’re rowdier than usual today and I don’t know what the reason is but I guess it’s just one of those days where everyone’s excited and hyped up. I dunno~ Anyway for breakfast, we’re having eggs, sausages, bacon, a mini croissant and orange juice. Except for Vivian who doesn’t like OJ and is having milk instead. I’m checking out in about 10 minutes, while everyone is hurling the bags outside to the bus. I’m really going to miss it here! :/

Bus 

I’m so full. It wasn’t even a heavy breakfast but I feel so full. T____T Michelle is now driving with Vivian at her side. :3 I’m sitting down at a chair, with the back slightly reclined. Here’s today’s itinerary:

  • Maui Island
  • Pools of Oheo
  • Makena Beach State Park
  • Souvenir shop
  • Airport; Go home! :(

Everyone’s doing their own thing and I could really care less.. After today, we’re back to Florida where everything’s familiar and predictable ;_; I’ll enjoy Maui today to its fullest extent!!

We just passed that sign! :3 In about 30 minutes, we’ll reach Pools of Oheo. It’s almost 9:30 AM. Vivian has took over the driving because Michelle wanted to look out the window and gape at the beautiful scenery. XD

WE ARE SO SWIMMING HERE! Our bathing suits are at the trunk. It’s so pretty and I’m so glad that it’s swimmable~ These pools come from waterfalls and they’re really tranquil; I love it! We’re all parked and ready to go! I’ll leave my laptop here at the bus because I’m not too sure that there’s somewhere to leave it on when we get to the pools. All we’re bringing are ourselves, this one big bag with our clothes and two huge bag of chips. ^^

Back at the bus

That was an unforgettable experience. It’ll be forever in my memories. The water was just the right temperature and the waves were also perfect - not too strong, not too calm. We were also the only ones in the pools so we had the freedom of doing whatever we want and be as noisy without bothering anyone. The whole place was literally filled with the pattern of water hitting someone’s skin and then laughter. We had a lot of fun. Then after that, we just sat down on the rocks to get dried then we started walking back to the bus. :3 It was such an amazing experience! We’re now off to Makena Beach State Park and it’s an hour away. The time is ticking and our time at Hawaii is getting lesser by the minute. :/

We reached it! :D Right here, we’re going to have a nice picnic under the shade of the trees. On the way here, we stopped by a supermarket to buy lemon chicken, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, some bread and an ice cooler filled with a bunch of ice, sodas and water. For our picnic blanket, we’re just going to use this huge table sheet that I found in one of my bags. Huh, that’s weird. XD Anyway, we’re setting up right now.. Marielle, Sam and Lucia were very kind to set up everything while I’m sitting down on the shore, with my laptop, typing this out. :3 As I’m typing this, I’m looking out into the beautiful horizon and caressing the golden sand beneath me. It’s very breathtaking. Sean and Vivian are chasing each other around and I know that they’re running around because they like how the sand feels under their feet. Michelle, Giuliana and Danielle are wading through the clear waters.. It’s a really nice day. <3 Anyway, off to go eat! The girls who set up are calling all of us~

It’s almost time for our flight!! I didn’t want to leave Makena Beach. Everything was too good. We had a great picnic. Full of laughter, jokes and playing. The food was totally consumed and nothing was spared. :D Our money didn’t go to waste!! Hopefully, when we get to the souvenir shop, we buy things that are useful and not buy things that are full of nonsense. -_____-

On the way to the airport

BOOOOOO! We’re on our way to the airport. :/ It’s almost 5PM and Vivian’s driving. It’s a one hour drive to the airport. In the shop, all of us bought one specific thing: a ukulele. Then we just bought a bunch of keychains and magnets and shirts. We spent about $1000 altogether. I bought 5 keychains, 10 magnets, and 6 shirts along with a hula dancer bobble-head and figurine. :3 It was funny when Sean tried on a grass skirt. Ehem, he bought it too XDD Anyway, I wanna try to get some shut-eye like everyone else is doing except for Vivian because she’s driving.. But everyone else? Sleeping! 

Airport check-in

I just finished checking in.. We’re now waiting for our flight to be called. We’re still full from lunch so we’re just sitting still on the benches, waiting patiently.. 10 minutes from now, we’re going to go get some coffee from Starbucks to bring onboard. It’s going to be a long flight :/ I don’t wanna say goodbye to Hawaii!

Last entry! I’ve got my toffee mocha frappucino, all my friends in the seats behind me and all our luggage. I’m sitting next to Marielle, who’s reading something. Oh! The pilot just told us to turn all electronic devices off! Shutting down now~ And I’ll be sleeping the entire flight so I’ll type another one when we land in Miami! Bye Hawaii! Thanks for the fun times and the great memories you gave us <3
